Sweaters, pumpkins, and cool weather are back in season and although we aren’t the biggest fans of pumpkin spice drinks, we do love pumpkin pie!
Decorating for fall is only second to Christmas. (Isn't Autumn the only actual season we decorate for?) We love picking out autumn decor. Every time I enter HomeSense I have to make sure I don't fill my cart with all the fall decor. I did miss out on a beautiful green opalescent pumpkin cannister that I still regret not picking up.
Anyway, here are 5 Autumn Decor Ideas that we LOVE!
FALL WREATHS
In our opinion fall wreaths are the best! With so many different types and options you'll definitely be able to find one that suits your style! You can even go for a walk and find items to DIY your own! We love the natural looks of homemade wreaths, we like to use vines to create it and add pinecones, colourful corn and anything we can find lying around outdoors.
CROCHETED PUMPKINS
These pumpkins are adorable and add a soft look to any home. These could also be DIY-ed... as long as you know how to crochet. ( I can only crochet a circle, so I'll be purchasing one if I see it around) I've seen similar fabric pumpkins at HomeSense. These could be made out of all sorts of different yarn and colours to match your colours!
PUMPKIN VASES
Whether keeping the pumpkin natural or painting it a fun colour, it will absolutely make an interesting center piece! I myself would choose a natural pumpkin colour with flowers in contrasting blue colours to really make it pop!
AUTUMN BOUQET
Bouquets come in all shapes and sizes but putting a fall spin on it is so unique! You can even just go out into your yard or a near by park and find all sorts of different options to add to it. You don't even need to spend any money on it! And options for bases- endless!
PLAID
Plaid isn't just beautiful, comforting and fun. It's also a classic autumn pattern. Reds, blacks and grays are my favourites for plaids, but I've also seen some really nice green plaids!
